District of Oregon Federal Courthouse Postcards

There is only one federal judicial district in Oregon. For filing purposes, the district is divided into two adminstrative regions, one with a seat in Portland, and the other with a seat in Eugene. Trials are held in courthouses in Portland and Eugene, and federal buildings with courtrooms Pendleton, Burns and Klamath Falls.

Federal Courthouses in Portland, Oregon:

This building now contains the court room of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

This court house was eventually named after federal district court judge Gus Solomon and was replaced about 2003.
